WHAT YOU GET IN THE COURSE
Book Proposal Academy is structured around eleven modules. After an introduction module you'll build your proposal step-by-step with five modules that cover the key elements of a book proposal: Brief Description, Table of Contents and Chapter-by-Chapter Synopsis, Bio, Marketing Section, and Writing Sample. Modules 7 and 8 are for fiction and children's book writers. Module 9 will show you how to pitch your book to literary agents and publishers who are active in the business.
1. Introduction
You'll learn about the publishing business, how book contracts work, the role of agents, how to decide between self-publishing and traditional publishing, and how to develop a great book concept.
Â
2. Brief Description
Here you'll learn how to cast a vision for your book. This module helps you craft a description of your book that captures the interest of both publishers and readers.
 3. Table of Contents and Chapter-by-Chapter SynopsisÂ
Writers are experience architects. In this section you'll learn how to structure your book to give your readers an engaging experience that will keep them flipping from page to page.
4. Bio
This module helps you craft a bio that establishes your credibility and presents you as an authority. When publishers and readers review your bio, they'll be eager to hear more from you.
5. Marketing Section
This module helps you develop a marketing plan no matter how big your following is. And it helps you present your plan in a way that will get publisher attention.
